Martin
Willman, M.D.
A
Louisville native who attended the University of Kentucky for
both his undergraduate work and medical school training, Dr.
willman maintains a link to his southern roots with an honorary
officer rank in the Confederate Air Force. But he includes the
presidential libraries of American's Yankee presidents along
with its southern counterparts, in his travels throughout the
county visiting presidential libraries, museums and related
sites.
Although only one president, U.S. Grant, lived extensively in
St. Louis, Dr. Willman came to St. Louis to complete his medical
internship and residency at St. Louis University and was on
the medical schools's full time faculty before entering private
practice in otolaryngology more than 25 years ago.
